A great all around boat

Eric McKinney

"Redfish, Snook, trout, and Tarpon is the main reason I chose the 2020 Seafox 240 Viper. The low gunnels in the aft make it easy to handle fish and easy to get in and out of during scallop/lobster season. Mine has a 250SS Suzuki on it which pushes the boat out of the water very good and a top speed of 50-53 mph depending on load. 15”x22”pitch 4 blade stainless propeller.

"The advertised draft is 14” which is pretty close again depending on load. I have measured it in shallow water with a fish ruler. If I need a new trolling motor some day I will get one longer than 72”, the one I have works great in the bay but offshore it could be longer. For days in the spring the extra flip up seating and big console make it a very comfortable boat to hang out on with plenty of room for the toys.

"This boat has fished Crystal River mangroves for reds and snook down to the skyway bridge Tarpon fishing. It really is a great all around boat for Florida inshore and some offshore on the good days. The 77 gallon fuel tank is always the worst part lol, but it allows me to go where I want to go any given weekend. I don’t know what my gauges are so scared by, but they are 😂 I can’t unsee it."
