To operate the diesel generator on the 368 Commander, start by turning on the battery switch and confirming it shows a green indicator. Before you start the generator, ensure both the “shore power” and “generator” main breakers or in the “off” position.  Once the generator starts, then turn “on'' the main generator breaker. Ensure the Seacock is open to allow raw water to cool the generator via the strainer. At the generator's base, adjust switches for the refrigerator, air conditioner, battery charger, and engine battery charger as needed. When returning to dock, switch off the panel and battery to conserve power, and connect to shore power using the 30 amp hookup. Before shutting down the generator, ensure the “generator” main breaker is in the “off” position. Following these steps ensures efficient operation and maintenance of your generator onboard.

To use a shore power generator on a Sea Fox, start by positioning your boat within reach of the shore power outlet to avoid stretching the shore power cord. Before connecting, ensure all electrical appliances and devices onboard are powered off to prevent any electrical issues. Next, connect the shore power cord by plugging one end into the generator's outlet and the other end into the shore power outlet on the dock or campsite. Double-check both connections to ensure they are securely plugged in and free of any loose fittings. This process guarantees a stable and safe power supply for your Sea Fox.

Each Sea Fox 368 Commander is equipped with a reverso flushing system as standard. This feature is invaluable for extended periods on the water, allowing you to effortlessly flush all three motors at once with freshwater upon returning to the dock. Simply connect the fitting to a freshwater hose, press the outboard flushing system button, and the system efficiently flushes all three motors at the same time. This routine maintenance step is crucial for preserving the longevity and performance of your motors in saltwater conditions.

The 368 Commander is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, ensuring your beverages stay cold and your bait remains frozen whether you’re at the dock or offshore. This convenient setup can operate on either a 12V DC (house battery system) or a 30 amp 110A AC (shore power or generator system) , providing flexibility and simplicity for all your cooling needs during your time on the water.
